Josiah's Bay

This is Josiah's Bay. I walked all the way to the east end up and down the big hill and then someone asked if I wanted a ride, already 3/4 the way there. I got my excersise though...
Anyway these are some pictures of the awesome surfing here, and these are little waves, latley it has been pretty calm in the way of surfing. I was just lazing on the beach though and couldn't be bothered to get up and rent a board and teach myeself yet again how to surf.. Next time. I was to tired anyway, like I said I had walked all the way over and on top of that swim a few lenghts of the beach. That felt good though, I hadn't swam in ages..

And then there is the cute father and 2 sons playing in the sand, they were adorable little boys.

Discover Scuba Diving

Wow... Today I heard the best thing that could have come out of my 1st, full on, Discover Scuba diver.... Flip chart and all. She tells me that, " you are the best instructor I have every had". I'm sure all of you dive pros out there hear that all the time but for my first DSD all the way though and only being a DM, that ment the world to me at that moment. She really opened up to me, telling me that she has always had bad experiences diving and that she wasnt to apt to diving anymore...well I think we changed that, becase after the confined dive she was so excited.
It was absolutly amazing to hear that, it made my week. And every time you do it, because I had 2 more in the afternoon, you learn something new everytime. How to better prepare yourself, explaning things so that it flows much easier for the students to understand... It's all coming together for me now!

Filling Tanks!!!

Hi all,

Guess what? I had to fill tanks until 1:30 in the morning the other night! It sucked. I was so pissed and my feet and hands where killing me at the end of the night.

Internet Connection and stuff!

At first I had to walk all the way down my hill to my old apartment to get wireless internet, however just a couple weeks ago, Josh, my roomie, found internet here. In the tiny section of the far left corner of our porch outside. So here I am in the burning sun in the far corner sitting on a tiny little railing trying to email everyone! haha I think it's funny:) My butt hurts, I'm buning hot and I can't really see this screen!

This morning I have off, bucause "me" being the "Divemaster" has to stay late, 10pm, to fill tanks. That's ok, I'll just bring my book and music and.... I'll probably fall asleep on the dock. They'll find me lying in the compresser shed in the morning. This afternoon Nina and I will be with the cruiseship coming in at around 1:00 (NCL). I think it'll be fine though, there's only 6 CD's. And yes... we'll be diving the Rhone Bow and Stern. Yippee! Speaking of wrecks... I want to dive the Chikuzen again. That was an amazing dive. Saw 2 reef sharks, schools of baracuda.

Talk to everyone soon, can't wait to see you Mom and Dad. 13 mas dias!!!!!!!!!!- You guys can cook me some healthy food, then we can take a ferry over to St. Thomas and get some McDonnalds! I want a big mac and some fries! And then I'll think I'll have a McDonnalds McFlurry!

Hello

Well, to tell you the truth... I've been kind of board out of my mind latly. Just recently I had 3 days off in a row where I just hung around and listened to music and then went out. Then I worked for 2 days and yet again I have another 2 days off. I just don't know what to do with myself. Yesterday to to be honest I cant even remember what I did during the day. That night though I went to the Loose Mongoose for the evening outing with the sail staff. Food was on Mike Leise.... so I got a big ol' piece of chicken. Yum! Then today I watched "The Rock" in the morning and then hitched a ride over to Jossiahs Bay. Nobody else there except us, we basiclly had the whole beach to ourselves.

Tomorrow I'am back at work, I am still finding it hard to undersatand all these different teen programs coming and going all the time. It just gets so confusing to keep up... but I know my role. I take them diving, I just need to make sure they get back to the boat! Hey but work is work and I am enjoying it.

These pics are of the living room and dinning room. This house I great but there are so many doors that you have to go through. All the rooms are basiclly in one building, you walk out a door and across the walkway where you will find yet another door which leads to the living and dining room (that is where the porch it) then from there walk out the dinning room door outside to the kitchin door, yet another building. And there's the door to the pool!!!
