Hiya!

Well I was Ms. Negative Nancy with my last post. That's kinda what it's like here right now....I have my good days and I have my bad days. Overall I love it here, I can see myself living here for a while... that's the plan though! My jeep will be here in a week and that alone will make my struggles 10 times easier to deal with. I won't be riding my bike in the rain, I can go somewhere for lunch and not say at Amoray. That hour could be used looking for an apartment.

I've been lucky enough to have met someone who I couldn't really be doing this with without! I would consider him my best friend and only friend in Key Largo. He's chauffeured me all over, shown me some great places to eat, hangout on the beach, drink, dance, relax.... he's givin me the rundown on anything i need to know about the keys. He is that someone that I can talk to about anything! Good or bad! He's helping me look for an apartment! I couldn't ask for a better friend down here. He watched The Bacholorette with me!!

I've been calling on apartments everyday, no luck yet. Eventhough all the restaurants and shops are dog friendly, it's almost impossible to find an apartment that is dog friendly. If only I had Butch here with me... I could really use his puppy eyes!

4th of July was pretty awesome. The place I work at is the best place in town for watching the fireworks over the bay!
